In line with a clearly defined strategy for growth and development, KD Media Publishing has appointed Tony Fields to the newly created role of Director of Sales and Marketing.
Tony brings with him a wealth of specialist media knowledge and marketing insight, as well as a stellar network of connections across the global trade and consumer marketplace. Collectively, his skills, knowledge and expertise will enable him to drive the company's 22 trade and consumer titles' sales and marketing activities to a new level.
Prior to this appointment, Tony held the post of international brand manager for global travel trade media giant, TTG Media, following on from a 10-year tenure heading up its MENA franchise. Having successfully steered TTGMENA's sales and marketing activities through a crucial, digital transition, his skills in this arena match the exacting requirements of KD Media Publishing as the company drives towards a fusion of print and digital excellence.
“2016 is inked to be an exciting landmark year for us at KD Media Publishing,” says Managing Director, Robert Clark. “Not only are we extending our premium portfolio of County Wedding Magazines with the imminent launch of our 18th title, Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding, but we're also in the throes of a vibrant new rebranding strategy.
“Always on-point with the latest innovations in the publishing world, we will also be steering our full collection of consumer and trade publications through a digital transformation this year, including our entry onto the app scene,” he continues.
As director of sales and marketing, Tony will play an integral role in breathing life into these initiatives and will be tasked with strengthening the brand's positioning across the UK and relevant international markets, generating innovations across print and digital platforms to raise the company's market share, and developing strategies to increase client loyalties.
“Continuously devoted to excellence and integrity, the latest initiatives set out by KD Media Publishing will further bolster our position across the industries we serve, while ensuring readers and suppliers alike of a seamless and outstanding multi-platform experience. We're therefore pleased to welcome Tony on-board and are confident that he will play a key role in helping us to achieve our goals.”
