The Kentish Soap Company has announced the launch of its new facial bars, now available to retailers across the UK. This skincare product is the latest addition to its range of ethical and sustainable soap, shampoo bars and gifts.Two varieties will be available – Rose Clay and Charcoal. The ONS retail sales data for April was released May 21st. One of the main points concluded that retail sales volumes grew sharply in April 2021 with a monthly increase of 9.2 per cent, reflecting the effect of the easing of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions including the re-opening of all non-essential retail from 12th April in England and Wales and from 26th April in Scotland. Businesses benefit from government Kickstart scheme with next deadline looming

Companies benefitting from the additional support of young individuals through the government's Kickstart scheme have expressed their thanks to the organising team at BATF. The Kickstart Scheme is a fully funded government initiative which creates high quality six-month work placements for 16 to 24 year-olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long-term unemployment.As an approved gateway for the scheme, BATF has already organised more than 100 placements across companies in the jewellery and giftware sectors. Now the Federation is inviting more businesses to come forward to register their interest in the opportunity, which requires zero financial commitment from the business.
