French toy brand Janod has announced a collaboration with WWF, as the team unveil a brand-new collection to inspire and engage the next generation of animal and nature lovers. The government has announced that there will be an extension to the moratorium on commercial tenant evictions in England until 25 March 2022 and mediation introduced. Discussing the news, FSB National Chair Mike Cherry said, "This announcement will be a big relief for many anxious small business tenants who have been dealing with a huge amount of disruption over the last 15 months. In many cases they were two weeks away from facing legal proceedings for rent they could not afford, for premises that have been shut. Many will have had no opportunity to raise any revenue, as they have been unable to use their premises for a prolonged period."... read more

Home & Gift 2021 to take place as part of the Government’s Events Research Programme pilot

Clarion Events has announced that following detailed discussions with the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Public Health Bodies and Harrogate Convention Centre, the Home and Gift Buyers' Festival & the Manchester Furniture Show in Harrogate has been selected to be part of a limited number of pilot events in the third phase of the Government Events Research Programme.Under the ERP pilot conditions, there will be no restrictions on visitor numbers or social distancing requirements on any day of the event (18-21st July). All attendees will be required to certify either they have had two vaccinations at least two weeks prior to attending or a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test at least 48hrs before attending.... read more

Interior Lifestyle China rescheduled to September 2022

Originally due to take place this September, Interior Lifestyle China, the country's leading international event for the consumer goods sector, will now be held in September 2022 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. The decision was made due to travel restrictions likely remaining in place in the lead up to the fair, impacting international participation in the event. Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd explained, "It is with regret that we must make this decision, however, with travel restrictions likely to still be in place in September, this means many of our international exhibitors will not be able to participate in person."... read more
