Voice International ups sustainability credentials; switches to Ecosilver

Voice International now uses Ecosilver in the manufacture of all of its silver jewellery designs. Ecosilver is made of 100 percent recycled silver and as a result is an eco-friendly alternative to sterling silver, yet still has the same quality and hypoallergenic properties.As of April 2021, all of Voice's silver jewellery, from new designs such as the Pinto collection, or new batches of the staple Half Moon, Entwined or Stacking Rings, have been made from Ecosilver sourced from Cooksongold's Ecosilver range – this includes silver wire, sheet and solder but excludes fastenings and earring posts, which are currently unavailable in Ecosilver.... read more

Potters Crouch has announced the appointment of Matt Elvidge, who has filled the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Matt graduated from Manchester with a degree in Chemistry and decided to add accountancy to his CV. Following a few positions in Leeds and Manchester he moved into a senior role located in Bedfordshire before being headhunted by Potters Crouch to fill this new role. Daisybeck Studios, the production company behind Made in Britain, approached Gibsons in Autumn last year, and was keen to showcase a British puzzle brand that still manufactures in the UK. Retail sales, Great Britain: April 2021

The ONS retail sales data for April was released May 21st. One of the main points concluded that retail sales volumes grew sharply in April 2021 with a monthly increase of 9.2 per cent, reflecting the effect of the easing of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions including the re-opening of all non-essential retail from 12th April in England and Wales and from 26th April in Scotland.
