The British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) has announced today that registration has now opened for visitors and media to attend Toy Fair 2022. Following a hiatus in 2021 due to the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic, the 68th Toy Fair will return to Olympia London from Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th January, 2022. Wedding and party manufacturer Neviti has announced the launch of a new website, www.neviti.com. The new website is open to both trade and retail customers and Neviti is inviting those with shops and businesses in the party industry to sign up for a trade account. As a thank you they will receive a 10 percent discount voucher to use against their next order placed on the website. British jewellery C W Sellors has announced the launch of a new luxury advent calendar collection, featuring a Chatsworth House box. The company offers six different advent calendars in the collection, each with their individual contents and price point, yet all with a significant saving should you be purchasing the items separately. Three of the calendars take their name from villages that surround Chatsworth House. The Edensor and Beeley Advent Calendars feature several official designs launched for Chatsworth exhibitions, including House Style, Life Stories and Chatsworth Renewed. The cut-outs are stuck down with an even coat of Image Medium (a type of glue) and then sealed with another coat.

To commemorate the occasion of Her Majesty The Queen becoming the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee in 2022, which follows seventy years of service, the British Hallmarking Council, has sanctioned a commemorative component mark.Designed by Thomas Fattorini Ltd, the mark depicts an orb, and can be applied to precious metal, alongside a hallmark, by any one of the four UK Assay Offices. The approval process of the mark took place over the last year and involved engineers at Goldsmiths' Hall refining designs for use by laser, or punches ranging in size from 1mm – 6mm in height.
