National Stationery Week, which takes place between 22nd - 28th April, 2013, is a major sales and marketing opportunity for retailers. It is a celebration of the written word and all things stationery, and follows the success of National Stationery Day this year. It resulted in massive exposure on Facebook and Twitter, in the national, consumer and trade press, on radio, blogs and websites, and generated extra sales for retailers.
Leading stationery brands have signed up as official partners for National Stationery Week - Sheaffer, Letts Filofax, Faber-Castell and uni-ball.
"Handwriting is enjoying a revival, and is far from being the lost art some would have us believe," says organiser Chris Leonard-Morgan. "It still matters and is more important than ever in today's digital age. It's why 'Get Britain Writing' has been adopted as the theme for National Stationery Week. Britain is a nation of stationery lovers, and design-led notebooks and pens are the new must-have fashion accessory."
National Stationery Week is organised by the London Stationery Show, which takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington from 23rd - 24th April, 2013.
