Offbeat jewellery brand Very Beryl is teaming up with leading women's charity Ovarian Cancer Action to release two trendy brooches inspired by the work done by the organisation.
The first, featuring a tasty-looking cupcake, is inspired by Ovarian Cancer Action's initiative to get people together to enjoy a cupcake break and to make a donation to the charity.
The other flags up the campaign message 'Everyone Should Talk about It', aimed at raising awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer.
"I chose to work with Ovarian Cancer Action because ovarian cancer affects many women and doesn't receive enough attention. More girls need to be made aware of the symptoms so that the disease can be caught early," says Very Beryl founder Cheryl Barnes. "I truly believe that through increasing awareness there can be positive results and I hope my small contribution to the great efforts made by this charity can help to educate younger people of the symptoms of ovarian cancer."
