Hosted by London Stationery Show, this year's Stationery Awards are now open for entries, with new regional retailer categories included. The awards aim to benchmark good practice and innovation in the retail stationery sector, recognising manufacturers, retailers and rising talent across the industry.
The Retailer Awards are open to shops that sell stationery as part of their offer, with categories designed to reward outlets from across the UK. Categories include Best Independent Retailer in the South, Midlands and North, and Best High Street Retailer. Entrants can nominate themselves or be nominated by agents, account managers or suppliers.
This year's Product Awards are open to all suppliers across arts and crafts, notebooks, organisers and journals, children's stationery, social stationery, gift packaging and wrap, and eco and sustainable stationery. Entrants don't need to be exhibiting at London Stationery Show, and all shortlisted products will be showcased at the event.
The new Rising Star category offers an opportunity to reward a talented individual for their work in the industry. Anyone can be entered, from entrepreneurs to team workers. The Rising Talent category also includes Stationery Designer of the Year, supported by a leading UK manufacturer, offering a chance for a budding designer to work with an experienced production and sales team, taking their product ideas through to retailers across the UK.
The Awards will be judged by leading industry figures, with the shortlists announced just before the event. The winners will be revealed in a ceremony that takes place on the first evening of London Stationery Show, which runs from 21st - 22nd April at the Business Design Centre. Entry forms are available at www.stationeryawards.co.uk and the deadline is 11th March.
