Paul Lamond to launch UK's first ever Escape the Room Party Game

Escape the Room real-venue challenges are becoming one of the country's fastest growing crazes and this summer Paul Lamond Games will launch the UK's first Escape the Room Party Game that can be played in comfort of the player's own homes.

Mystery at the Stargazer's Manor will be the UK's first escape the room style game and will be launched by Paul Lamond in June with further titles to be released later in the year.

Richard Wells, Sales Director of Paul Lamond Games said: “This is a growing and exciting market, these games sit perfectly with our current portfolio and we are really looking forward to bring this style of party event to the UK market. The Mystery at the Stargazer's Manor escape the room party game is for 3 to 8 players aged 10 plus and will take approximately 90 minutes to play.”

The Escape the Room concept originated from the video gaming market and quickly moved into real venue challenges, in 2015 there were over 2,800 real-life room escape ventures across the UK. The Escape the Room games see players locked in a room with other participants where they have to use elements of the room to find clues, solve a series of puzzles and escape from the room in a set time limit.

Room escaping gives players the opportunity to use their initiative, team work skills and intelligence. Players need to be observant and use their critical thinking skills in order to escape the room.
