Simon Maghnagi – Business Development Manager at Forma House, completed the London Marathon in aid of CRISIS last month and thanks to the support of family, friends and fellow members of the housewares industry, Simon managed to smash his £2,000 target to fund raise just over £3,300 for this charity that supports vulnerable homeless people. Simon commented,"I'm really touched by all the support and donations that have been pledged from so many across the housewares industry. I have always said it's a great industry to be part of, with great people at the heart of it and this just proves it!"
Even a few injuries along the way could not stop Simon, who was determined to complete the marathon - all 26.2 miles of it! Six months of gruelling training paid off, but it was certainly a tough challenge - "I trained really hard in advance, but things got really tough at mile 15, I kept going and I am just really happy I made it to the end – a massive thanks has to go out to St John's Ambulance for helping me reach the finish line!"
Simon and the whole Forma House team would like to say Thank you on behalf of CRISIS - £3,300 will really make a difference.
