James Bidwell, former MD of Anthropologie Europe and board marketing director at Selfridges will be the keynote speaker for the comprehensive seminar programme at Pulse London 2011.
With over 20 years' experience across the retail, tourism, leisure and marketing industries, James will share his knowledge and skills as an international brand and business builder at a not-to-be-missed session at this year's Pulse on Monday 6th June at 12pm.
With an extensive background in retail, James held several senior marketing positions in leading UK and global companies; from managing director, Europe for Anthropologie, where he led the strategy and launch of the first two Anthropologie stores outside the US, to board marketing director at Selfridges during the renaissance of the prestigious brand.
In September 2010 James founded Bidwell & Co, which brings together experienced leaders and professionals to advise businesses on strategy, business transformation and growth.
James will be tackling the issue of 'constant change' in the retail environment. His presentation will draw on his extensive experience in the corporate environment to demonstrate how smaller companies can learn from the corporate giants to remain competitive and an integral part of society.
The seminars will be supported by retail surgeries - free one-to-one appointments with industry experts, who will be on hand to trouble-shoot individual business issues. The seminars and surgeries help retailers discover the trends and technologies that will resonate with consumers tomorrow.
Pulse 2011 takes place at Earls Court, London from 5th to 7th June. For information on visiting or exhibiting visit the website www.pulse-london.com or call the team at Clarion Events on +44 (0)207 370 8324.
