 New UK distributor for Aladdin and Stanley brandsPacific Market International (PMI), global manufacturer of food and beverage container brands Aladdin and Stanley, has entered into a partnership agreement with leading UK distributor Burton McCall. The agreement means Burton McCall is now the exclusive UK and Eire distributor of the Stanley and Aladdin brands. The objective is to accelerate the growth and market penetration of the brands and allow PMI to focus on new product development and innovation. As a result of the partnership, PMI will be closing its UK subsidiary company in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. "It is with great sadness that we close the UK office. We have many loyal employees who have worked hard to build the Aladdin and Stanley brands in the UK market. I am proud of what they have accomplished in establishing a foundation that will live on in this market," commented PMI president and CEO Rob Harris. "Partnering with Burton McCall and working within the distribution model already in place gives us the ability to focus on our core strengths in product innovation while leaving distribution to a partner better positioned to maximise brand penetration and growth," he concluded.
