Yorkshire artist, Eleanor Tomlinson, has unveil her largest piece of work to date, Coronation Capers.
The Coronation Collection has been carefully created with collectors in mind, complementing her Platinum Jubilee work and exhibiting her unique, canine orientated, take on King Charles III's impending coronation.
Drawn and painted with love, by the artist renowned for her depiction of our late Queen with Paddington Bear 'Jubilee Ma'amalade Tea', this regal canine scene depicts the most important dogs (and namesake) in King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla's lives.
Crowned majestically and commandeering a splendid scene along The Mall are a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Jack Russell, Bluebell, escorted by Corgis, Sandy and Muick.
The unmistakable London skyline frames a scene of pomp and ceremony, adoring crowds, an historic fly past, famous landmarks and Eleanor's trademark bunting, ruled by dogs, past and present, from the Royal Household, revealing a new level of detail in the artist's work and an investment of over 50 hours work.
True to her word and determined to support small British businesses, Tomlinson's 'Coronation Collection' has been created with the help and expertise of Cambridgeshire based Presiman Designs - fabric printers responsible for the production of Eleanor's aprons, tea towels, cushions and oven gloves. Renowned Hampshire ceramic designer, Gabriella Shaw has been instrumental in the production of Eleanor's Coronation mugs, handmade and decorated in Stoke-on-Trent, they will be sold in gift boxes.
Eleanor's design will also appear on the lid of award-winning, Yorkshire family bakery, Lottie Shaw's tin of 'seriously good treats'. Six hundred and five limited edition prints of Coronation Capers will be put on sale, a number carefully selected, referring to the date of King Charles' Coronation.
