Rubik’s signs major back to school promotion with city centre Sharjah & city centre Ajman malls in the UAE: Image 1 The Smiley Company, master licensee for the Rubik's Cube, is pleased to announce an exciting new mall promotion and live experience in conjunction with Majid Al Futtaim. Together they have created a range of unforgettable Rubik's experiences for visitors to their City Centre Sharjah & City Centre Ajman Malls to enjoy, including supersized versions of Rubik's games and against the clock challenges.

Mall shoppers are in for a treat this summer, thanks to a range of exciting game play activations and experiences featuring key brand elements from the Rubik's Cube, the ultimate symbol for intelligence, problem-solving and creativity. When shoppers spend AED 200 or more in the City Centre Sharjah & City Centre Ajman Malls they will be able to redeem entry into specialist Rubik's zones, featuring a range of original Rubik's games as a free play format for visitors to complete against the clock and win a selection of fantastic prizes. Play as a single player against the clock or go head-to-head with an opponent at our Rubik's Speedcubing Tables.

Available weekdays and weekends from 15th August-15th September 2019, this fast and furious challenge will give players a chance to get first-hand experience of one of the world's fastest growing competitions Speedcubing. The zone will be open daily from 10 am to 10pm for all visitors to practice, play and solve the iconic Cube puzzle with a chance to win a range of exciting prizes. City Centre Sharjah will also be hosting an Official Rubik's Speedcubing Tournament in partnership with the World Cube Association. Running for the final seven days of the promotion, the competition will be open to entry for all players registered at the Rubik's Play Zones. Shoppers can race against the clock or other Cubers to complete the coloured face of an oversized Rubik's Cube. Players must finalise their assigned Cube face in the specified colour using the Cubes provided. The 'Rubik's Match' can be played by up to four players at any time and participants will stand the chance to win a selection of fantastic prizes from retailers within the mall.
