Colchester Zoo wins signed Meg Hawkins print in WIDDOP competition

Colchester Zoo wins signed Meg Hawkins print in WIDDOP competition: Image 1 During Spring Fair 2019, award-winning nature artist Meg Hawkins donated a limited edition signed print to a competition on WIDDOP's stand.

The framed Zebra watercolour print exemplifies Meg's beautiful style, which has seen her win Best Home, Gift and Clothing Products at the Glee Awards following her recent venture into giftware. Working in collaboration with North Manchester based design-led giftware supplier WIDDOP, Meg's work is now available on a licensed range of home accessories and gift items, from cushions to mugs and wall art.

The prize draw received huge interest with a large number of entries. Meg selected the winner at close of play on Thursday.

Director Stephen Illingworth, pictured with Meg and the Meg Hawkins collection, was delighted with the winner. He commented: "There couldn't be a more perfect winner, could there? Meg's work, inspired by wildlife and nature, on display in a zoo. We hope Colchester give it pride of place."
