Selbrae House reports record year of sales; up 40 percent year on year

Scottish gift and homeware business, Selbrae House, has recorded a record year of sales to date, up almost 40 percent on the best previous year. With a new trade website and more than 60 new products launched for its AW21 range, it is buoyant for a bumper Christmas season.Having re-focused on its core values and products, and adapted how it sells as a result of the pandemic, the family-led business has expanded its product offering and launched many on-trend products, such as bee related gifts, dog designs and new barware and drinks gift ranges.

New hand care production underway in Cumbria for Wax Lyrical

Wax Lyrical, the UK's largest home fragrance manufacturer, has completed the build of its new factory in Lindal-in-Furness and with orders already secured, has also launched in the hand and body care sector.Wax Lyrical owners, Portmeirion Group, invested £1.5 million to build the new production facility expanding capabilities at the Cumbria plant and heralding the new era.The first products are about caring for hands with hydrating wash and moisturising lotion and the third new product, a fragranced no-rinse hand cleanser, does the same great job as Wax Lyrical sanitiser. As well as protection from germs you get fragrances such as Mediterranean Orange, Sunflower and Exotic Fig.

The Popcorn Shed has launched a new letterbox gift range. The Popcorn Shed began in 2016 when founders and cousins Sam and Laura started experimenting with popcorn recipes in Laura's mother's kitchen.
