Joining in March 2026, newest team member Sue Brayshaw covers the North East and Yorkshire. Having over 35 years in the gift industry, including roles as a National Account Manager and sales agent, Sue brings decades of experience alongside a practical, personable approach. Known for her reliability and willingness to go the extra mile, whether that’s through supporting displays in-store or tailoring ranges to suit individual customers, Sue is focused on building strong brand presence in the right locations. Sue’s advice on showing up as a valued retail partner is: “being prepared to get on your hands and knees with a duster, tidy up and count stock.”

Supporting customers across Scotland is Irene Grant, who joined the business in 2025. With more than thirty years in sales, Irene has built a reputation for reliability, consistency and long-standing customer relationships. Working across a diverse mix of independent retailers and major garden centre groups, Irene is well versed in securing strong retail space and ensuring displays remain fresh, relevant and commercially effective. Her hands-on approach and commitment to customer service have made her a popular contact from Banchory to Gourock and from Thurso to Melrose. Being diverse and creative is what makes everyone in the Wild Things family so fabulous, and Irene fits in seamlessly with her background as a professional ice skater and qualified seamstress.

Both Irene and Sue share a clear understanding of today’s retail landscape. Success lies in optimising product alongside presentation and maintaining genuine relationships. Their appointments reflect Wild Things’ continued commitment to supporting retailers with not only distinctive, magical collections, but also with people who care about both the customers, the products and adding that extra sparkle in-store.

The Wild Things sales team is now nine strong, including long-standing Wild Things Liz Corbin (Head of Sales) and Kate Taplin (South West), Anita Powley (Midlands), Maria Valdez Cortez (Ireland), Suzanne Chapman (National Accounts ) and Will Kingham (South East).

Head office sales team support comes from the endlessly helpful Lisa Richardson who has been a Wild Thing for eight years and is a familiar, friendly voice to customers.
