This year, Sue Ure Maison is making a debut at the show; inspired by mid-century design and the vibrant colours of the 1960s, Sue Ure Maison design beautiful and useful home accessories for contemporary interiors.
In beautiful and durable white and black porcelain, the Ambit collection consists of mugs, jugs and bowls made to enhance the enjoyment of the most ordinary of daily activities. The range includes two mug shapes: 'tall & wide' perfect for hot drinks and 'small & tall handle-less cups' for espresso or long cold drinks, plus two new jugs and a very versatile deep bowl.
Each piece is partially glazed on the outside creating a dynamic contrast between the glossy glaze and the matt, unglazed surface of the porcelain. This separation is marked by a finely hand-drawn line of coloured clay in a choice of six colours: Saffron yellow, Rust orange, French blue, Parrot green, Ink black and Chalk white.
