22 As the UK fashion trade calendar gears up for another busy buying season, Harrogate Fashion Week is preparing to welcome retailers from across the country back to the beautiful Yorkshire spa town from 2-4 August at the Harrogate Convention Centre. Since launching in 2018, Harrogate Fashion Week has grown into the UK’s leading womenswear buying event, bringing together more than 250 clothing, footwear and accessories brands across four exhibition halls. Its combination of strong brand representation, relaxed atmosphere and central location has made it a firm favourite with both exhibitors and buyers from across the UK and Ireland. Harrogate Fashion Week isn’t just about placing orders – it’s about people and building long-lasting relationships. Libis McAllister of Ultimate in Fashion, Ballymena, now in its 43rd year of trading, first met Kathleen of Style Boutique NI while fashion buying, and the two have stayed friends ever since. HFW has become a regular meeting point for them each season, underlining the importance of buying in person.
