DÜSSELDORF SHOE DAYS LAUNCHES TO STRENGTHEN GERMANY’S FOOTWEAR BUYING HUB Organisers of the goodiez* Ordertage and TWODAYS powered by Igedo Exhibitions have announced an expanded collaboration aimed at strengthening Düsseldorf’s position as a leading footwear buying destination. Working closely with local showrooms and agencies, the partners are introducing a new umbrella format, DSD – Düsseldorf Shoe Days, designed to create a more efficient and inspiring buying experience for retailers and industry professionals. The initiative will bring together a wide range of premium footwear collections during a concentrated order weekend, making it easier for buyers to view key brands and trends in one visit. A central element of the concept is the active participation of regional showrooms located across Düsseldorf, from Kaiserswerther Straße and Cecilienallee to the city’s MedienHafen district. Through the continuation of the OPEN SHOWROOMS initiative, participating agencies will open their doors alongside the trade events, providing visitors with broader access to collections and industry contacts. The inaugural Düsseldorf Shoe Days will take place on 30–31 August 2026. During the event, goodiez* and TWODAYS will continue to operate from their established venues on Kaiserswerther Straße and Karl-Arnold-Platz 1, showcasing a strong line-up of exhibitors and collections. Alongside the two events, a number of established agencies will participate in OPEN SHOWROOMS, including Agents Of, Alexander Pospisil, Orderlounge, Stefan Michalski and SAS Agency. Brands represented across the participating showrooms include Carrano, Pedro Miralles, Premiata White, Mou, Back70, Ecoalf, Blauer USA and Filling Pieces. To ensure a seamless visitor experience, participating showrooms will be fully integrated into the Düsseldorf Shoe Days programme through joint marketing activities, website listings and an organised shuttle service connecting locations across the city.
