We will always strive to create products that no one has done before even if they are a twist on a classic. I am also a midwife, so safety is always my number one concern. How are you finding the current economic climate in the UK? Is it affecting business? Earlier in the year COVID was very worrying to us when UK retail shut down. We were as supportive as we could be to our retailers who had to cancel orders or delay payments, but it was not easy for anyone. Fortunately, we pivoted the business to concentrate on our B2C online sales and also supporting our retailers who had done the same. Business has been very busy as a result. Are you active on social media? How is this important for the business? Social media has been very kind to us. We have built up a loyal following on both Facebook and Instagram and are forever grateful for every like, comment, follow and share. Our visibility on social media has also brought us some amazing relationships with our independent retailers. We used to look for them, now they come to us, which is so heartwarming and I am truly thankful to anyone who trusts in us and our products. Do you have any advice for new businesses starting out in the world of gifts? Do not expect overnight success. My key advice is to spend time building meaningful and trusting relationships with your customers and retailers/suppliers. I truly believe it is the most magical sector, the type of shopping where individuality can really shine through and can give the customer the best shopping experience. What can we expect in the future from the company? Wow, you can expect a lot. We have so many plans for the brand and the unknown journey is the most exciting part. We have just created our first toddler game and written a book about our adorable characters. I guarantee it will be worth watching our story unfold.
