We have seen a very positive upward trend in distribution and sales from independent retailers which we are delighted about. Consumers have returned to the high street following the surge of online sales as a result of the pandemic. Are you active on social media? How is this important for the business? We have extremely engaged social media channels and have built a Brainstorm Toys following who look to us for not only product information but also fun facts about space, nature etc. We also use our social media to support our retailers, sharing their content, supporting in-store events and their competitions so it’s always worth retailers speaking with our Marketing team if they have anything planned. Do you have any advice for new businesses starting out in the world of gifts? Everything starts with product! If you have a good product that is priced well then anything is possible. After that you need competent leadership and a good team of people supporting your cause. What can we expect in the future from the company? We will continue to add to our ranges as well as looking to make further strides in our sustainable efforts as a company with rolling changes across all of our packaging in our bid to eliminate singleuse plastic.
