25 BRAND SPANKING NEW OPTICAID Opticaid UK is proud of its first eco collection of fashion reading glasses and sunglasses. There’s over 30 reading glasses and 20 sunglasses made from recycled water bottles and car head light surrounds. The readers are available in six reading strengths and retail from £14 and the sunglasses all with UV400 lenses, from £15. The recycled water bottles are cleaned and shredded into pellets, then coloured and melted to create new frames. The resulting modified polycarbonate material is tough, heat resistant and lightweight – a win win for eyewear. Whilst the lenses are still made from new “virgin” material the team are looking to change this in the future as technological advances are made. Popular styles so far are Hockley, an oversized frame, bold style Ealing and the 70’s inspired Chiswick. There’s lots of brights such as pink, yellow and red as well as best sellers black and tortoise, all in a contemporary matt finish. The glasses are also packed and stored in compostable bags to help minimise plastics. For product enquiries and a copy of Opticaid’s latest catalogue please contact the team. The new eco range will be on show at the Spring Fair Hall 4 B41. www.opticaid.net SKYLOS COLLECTIVE With sustainability and style at the forefront of Skylos Collective’s newly launched dog accessory range, its Peta approved vegan leads, collars and poop bag holders are making their mark with discerning dog owners, in search of luxury that combines holistic and sustainable values, into their lives. Ella Peters, founder of Skylos Collective says, “With 40% more UK consumers choosing in the last year to buy from brands that have environmentally sustainable values*, and sustainability being a major consideration for GenZer’s and Millennials**, our first collection pulls together my learnings from the ethical fashion industry and applies them to the lives of our canine chums.” Skylos Collective’s range is currently available in silver, ice blue, blush pink, forest green and black, and also includes four sizes of dog collars, ensuring all canines are catered for. www.skyloscollective.co.uk ENESCO Following on from its hugely popular Beatrix Potter bibs and tabards, contemporary gift retailer Enesco, is hopping with excitement to announce the launch of its brandnew Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Children’s MultiPurpose Coverall, officially licensed by Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House Children’s). Simply paw-fect for sticky little fingers come mealtime, grubby paws after playing in the garden or slips and spillages during arts and craft time, this very versatile piece is sure to be a hit with parents and care-givers of little ones. Made with a wipe-clean fabric and featuring long sleeves, as well as a top-to-bottom Velcro fastening at the back of the piece, this Multi-Purpose Coverall will keep little one’s clothes clean and tidy without limiting the fun. What’s more, the Multi-Purpose Coverall is totally gender neutral and wonderful for both little girls and boys, with the fabric featuring everyone’s favourite bob-tailed bunny – Peter Rabbit – along with his little sister Flopsy. Using some of the original character illustrations from Beatrix Potter’s literary works, the Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Children’s Multi-Purpose Coverall has a plain white background, with a soft blue trimming around the neck and hemline, as well as featuring the iconic colours of the two characters – Peter Rabbit with his lovely little blue jacket accented with brass buttons, and Flopsy wearing her sweet red cape. Measuring 29cm, the Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Children’s MultiPurpose Coverall is suitable for children aged 1-3 years. It is made from 100% polyester with a PU coating, meaning it is wipe clean only and should not be dried on hot surfaces or in the tumble dryer. Retailing with a SRP of £22, the Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Children’s Multi-Purpose Coverall is presented with a branded craft hang tag and will make for a gorgeous gift for little ones who just love the main mischief maker – Peter Rabbit – and his playful pals. www.enesco.co.uk To celebrate the 20th anniversary of American glassware brand, Designs by Lolita, Enesco is delighted to launch a brand-new collection of celebratory cocktail glasses. What all started with a girls’ night out two decades ago when Lolita personalised and sold her first Marini glass, to mark the momentous occasion, the US designer is launching a brand-new set of Martini-inspired cocktail glasses, in a nod to that now infamous night. With 10 new Cocktail glasses to choose from, with designs inspired by iconic cocktails such as the Cosmopolitan, Negroni and Lemon Drop, customers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to raising a glass of their favourite tipple or two. The designs for each glass reflect the name of the piece too. For example, the oh-so-popular Espresso Martini cocktail is depicted on its name-sake glass with a gorgeous coffeecoloured ombre hue working its way up the vessel, with sweet little coffee beans carefully crafted on the stem of the glass. Measuring 17.5cm tall, each glass in the new Cocktail Collection retails with a SRP of £22.00 and is presented in a beautifully branded gift box. What’s more, on the base of each glass, your customers will find a corresponding cocktail recipe to try at home and join in the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Designs by Lolita brand.
