CANDLELIGHT CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY WITH PRODUCT RELAUNCH Candlelight is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with the re-launch of its original iconic Vintage Amber Storage range. Kate Winch says, “Our original amber range was launched in 1979, proving to be exceptionally successful, for many decades. We have chosen to re-launch this to commemorate our 50th anniversary, perfect for the vintage, amber trend about to explode. This retro range of Amber Storage coming full circle and back full of life in 2022, just as fresh as it was in the 1980s.” This was one of the most successful stylish commodity storage ranges of the 80s and 90s, available from distributors around the world, most prevalent in Germany, USA, Scandinavia and UK retailers. Early indications confirm the re launch to the market is selling out of the stores at an astounding rate. Based in Aldwarke, South Yorkshire, Candlelight was born out of the 1972 miners’ strike, when founder and owner Mike Winch had the enterprising idea of selling homemade decorated candles to local independent stores, out of a farm building. For more than 65 years Günther has been developing and producing ‘Anything that Flies!’ – classic children’s kites, dynamic stunt kites, model aircraft, gliders, and a variety of airborne toys.
