69 WALES SPRING FAIR Head West Wales Spring Fair moves show dates to 2022, here the organisers tell us more... It is safe to say that we are not beginning 2021 in the way we assumed we would be, and this year will definitely see many changes in the world of trade shows. With many shows rescheduled this year due to the impact of Covid-19, the Wales Spring Fair is no different, and plans are now already underway for the 2022 show. Originally rescheduled from January 2021 to April 2021, it has now become unrealistic with the current restrictions in place for the show to take place in 2021 as hoped. Instead, celebrating the show’s 42 nd year, the Wales Spring Fair will take place from Sunday 23 rd to Tuesday 25 th January 2022. Wales Spring Fair event manager, Adrian La Trobe, explains, “The decision to cancel the show completely in 2021 was based on several factors, taking into account the current COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing regulations and the timeline in Wales for events to be able to recommence. “We appreciate that the show no longer taking place in 2021 is not ideal but we are hopeful that by January 2022 the restrictions in place will be much less limiting. “Current industry insights indicate 2021/22 will still be very different for trade shows but, after a positive response from existing and new exhibitors embracing the 2022 date, we are looking forward to the Wales Spring Fair taking place”.
