What are your most popular products? The iBeani Tablet Cushion. Have any styles taken you by surprise with their popularity? All of our designs are proving very popular, but the new floral design is proving incredibly popular. How do you keep your designs fresh and current? Do you follow trends? We ensure they are designs are kept fresh and on trend by introducing at least two or three different patterns each year. What sets you apart from your competitors? iBeani is a very strong, credible brand and we believe, the market leader for Tablet Cushions, providing a genuine quality product that offers unrivalled functionality, at an affordable price. How are you finding the current economic climate in the UK? Is it affecting business? This year has certainly been challenging for everyone but having an online presence has helped us through this difficult time. Are you active on social media? How is this important for the business? Social media is important to us and is something that we have just started to pay more attention to; hopefully you will see a lot more of us on the respective platforms over the coming 12 months. Do you have any advice for new businesses starting out in the world of gifts? Be prepared for a very difficult journey, as you can have the best product in the world but getting it out there for everyone to see is much more difficult than you may imagine. Always have a goal to achieve and a plan to get there; failing to plan is definitely planning to fail. What can we expect in the future from the company? Following the acquisition of 50% of the business by the household name JML, we have already started to look at streamlining our processes and utilising its expert guidance to grow our brand into what will become another household name.
