Our current collection is timeless with three anchor styles to take you anywhere you need to go. We have recently released an exclusive bag, which can be found on our website, of which there is limited stock. Since we started POA has remained true to our values. We would like to branch out into men’s accessories as well in the future.  How often do you launch new lines? We don’t work on a seasonal basis as we don’t want to contribute to a fast fashion industry, where things are in and then out. We as a company want people to buy our bags as a lasting purchase. Choosing POA London is shopping consciously. We aim to release new accessories every six months.  What are your current best-selling designs? Our Ella bag is a favourite and has gotten a lot of attention for its deep forest green colour. It is chic, eye catching and a great bag for both day and night.  Our Donna bag has the most attention on social media as a very unique statement bag. The Donna is reposted often, and many influencers want to do a collaboration with the Donna bag. When was the website launched and how does it support the business? Our online shop was launched in July 2019 and has been our main sale channel since opening. We update it with news and drop all of our new merch there. Customers can sign up to our newsletter to get discount codes and the ability to pre-order.  How do you view the current market and what trends, both in business and product, do you see emerging over the coming months? Despite leather being one of the most polluting industries in the world, we currently don’t find a lot of bag brands that use good alternatives. They are also not biodegradable and as durable as POA. We currently offer personalisation on all of our bags from motives to initials – customers can pick and choose. We believe people want to make their bags even more personal and individual, and we are here to help them do that. What are your future plans for the business? We have just released our non-plastic phone cases, which are completely biodegradable and made out of wheat-straw. Our pattern is printed in UV on the back. The cases have a social impact, but do not contribute to the unnecessary plastic in the ocean. We want to create more types of accessories than just bags, eventually we want to make men’s accessories. There are plans to release a few capsule collections and design collaborations with public personas who have the same brand aesthetics as POA. There is also potential for custom bags, made-to-order, where customers can also see how and where their bag is made – the ultimate transparency! What are your greatest achievements so far? We are happy with our following and feedback on social media as well as our features in Tatler and other magazines across Europe. POA has been contacted by department stores in London and may get into wholesale in the near future.
