63 LSS A decade on The London Stationery Show is set to celebrate it’s 10 th birthday! Here’s what to expect… London Stationery Show attracts the UK’s biggest retailers, influential buyers and brands in the stationery, gift and fashion sectors. The show will again deliver its trademark mix of established and exciting new writing and paper product suppliers. Exhibitor Line Up London Stationery Show will have more than 150 exhibitors and many more brands at this year’s show. Favourites such as Stone Marketing, Manuscript Pen Co, AT Cross, Royal Talens and ExaClair are back, with new companies for 2020 including Puckator and Open Narrative. Hahnemühle, Bostik and The Pilot Pen Co are returning to the show after a short break. The show is also set to welcome more international exhibitors in 2020, including Amarcord, Indigo, Kinary and others. In addition, the Boutique Collection will feature designer and gift stationery including Laura Stoddart and Stalogy. LaunchPad The show’s LaunchPad competition brings new suppliers to the show looking to break into the stationery market. The winners have been awarded a free stand so they can showcase their products at London Stationery Show, alongside the top brands in the industry. Make sure you visit them to find the next big thing! Trends Hub The Trends Hub, curated by trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, takes centre stage on the mezzanine level. The Trends Hub will feature three key global consumer and design trends relevant to the stationery sector for 2021 – Biotopia, Earthage and Soul Searching. The display features product from exhibitors that illustrate these future trends. The Trends Hub will also have a large focus on sustainability, which will have a display of its own sharing information about environmental issues and actions that can be taken by manufacturers and retailers in the stationery industry. All products displayed here will be 100 per cent recycled or sustainable, including all their packaging. “This subject has taken on a whole new importance and focus over recent times and this is going to deepen and strengthen this year,” says trend translator Phil Pond. “The sustainability display will impress upon visitors and exhibitors how much they have to do to meet with consumer demands in this area.” Live talks, workshops & trend tours return London Stationery Show has evolved over the last 10 years, moving from office products to a design-led and retail stationery show. The show’s programme will again reflect this, featuring workshops, live talks and design and trend initiatives put together with stationery retailers in mind. Stationery Awards London Stationery Show will once again host the Stationery Awards on the first evening of the show. As well as suppliers, retailers are also being rewarded this year, with regional best independent retailer awards introduced, as well as awards for the best high street stores, with the aim of recognising success across the whole industry.
