New for 2020, the Piecing Together collection is created for those living with dementia, with limited fine motor skills or who have visual impairments. Each puzzle features large, easy-to-handle pieces and beautiful images that are carefully designed to be age-appropriate for adults, yet accessible for all. There are 10 variations, all with between 12 and 15 pieces. Puzzles can be completed in the box. The range was developed following extensive research, including care home visits, liaising with Age UK centres and a collaboration with Zoe Wryko, consultant geriatrician and expert on Channel 4’s Old People’s Home for Four-Year-Olds. The puzzle images were chosen to evoke fond memories of the past, sparking conversations with loved ones and reminiscences on long-forgotten subjects. Each is made from recycled cardboard.
