55 BCTF AGAMA CREATIVE Stand: 70 agamacreative.co.uk Agama Creative produces hand built, figurative sculptures that are then copper fumed in a raku firing to bring out the fantastic rainbow flashes and subtle matts found in the minerals. Following the huge success of last year’s show, this year the company has extended the range of copper fumed raku sculptures to include British wildlife, domestic rare breeds and even some exotic African wildlife. All with the stylisation unique to Agama Creative. Also keep an eye out for the new chimineas and garden sculptures, which have been added to the range. Agama Creative continues to push the boundaries of ceramic sculpture, raku and copper fuming/matt decoration. FASANIAN ARTISTRY Stand: 147 fasanianartistry.co.uk Fasanian Artistry is a small greeting card publisher nestled in the Derbyshire Countryside. The greeting cards are printed on high quality 350gsm board and focus on illustrated puns and word plays incorporating animals, food and drink. As the illustrators as well as the publishers the company makes sure the same attention to detail is paid to each and every design. SARAH GREENING GLASS Stand: 56 sarahgreeningglass.co.uk After 25 years of working in the NHS, Sarah now uses her science background to experiment with the chemistry of glass fusing in a kiln to create an unusual style of jewellery where each piece is completely one of a kind, as are the techniques she uses. She sells her jewellery online, in galleries and shops and thrives on getting feedback directly from customers at art and craft fairs. In its first year, Sarah Greening Glass was selected for an award by Dragon’s Den retail entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis, for its original style as part of his initiative which supports small businesses in the UK. The distinctive ranges include her signature ‘bubbles’ in many colours, an assortment of styles in the coastal colours of turquoise and vanilla, and stylish formal/evening wear with the shimmer of mica or subtle dichroic glass. Her typical customer is someone who likes to wear something fun and unusual and who appreciates the quality and uniqueness of handcrafted products. Sarah runs glass fusing classes in her studio in Worcester alongside her husband, Chris, who is a potter. She also takes her classes out into the workplace for companies who wish to give their staff a creative break and help team-building. Sarah loves sharing her passion for glass and people come away from her classes feeling mentally relaxed and creatively fulfilled.
