Gift Focus - Jan/Feb 2020 (Issue 117)
96 PUCKATOR Stand: 4C20-D21 puckator.co.uk New for 2020 Puckator is unveiling its brand-new stationery line, inspired by its adorable ‘Cutiemals’ range. The collection features soft silicone pencil cases with cheeky little animal faces packing plenty of personality. Combining this with a durable material means these products are perfect for children of all ages (and we suspect a few adults). The range also contains shaped notepads, brightly coloured pencils and erasers, everything needed to complete a full stationery set. The bright bold packaging is perfect for jumping right off the shelves in any store. With three separate animal collections there’s something for all gift stores whether you’re in the market for farm, pet or zoo- themed products. Puckator has had huge success with its top selling ‘Feline Fine’ range and subsequently discovered there’s a large demand for gifts featuring all kinds of furry friends. This pet powered revolution has seen the revival of some favourite themes and with that in mind Puckator would like to introduce its new pet Pug, ‘Mopps.’ A group of Pugs may be known as a grumble, but this cheeky chappie will never be seen with a sad look on his face. Full of beans, this loveable guy is always causing trouble, particularly where food is concerned. He loves to steal a sausage or two. We’re looking forward to seeing him cause mischief on plush rucksacks, cute character pens and stacking lunch boxes. We’re also excited for the new shaped picture frames and wall hooks that’ll make a playful addition to any home. Pugs aren’t the only new dog design Puckator will be presenting in 2020. Taking inspiration from the Japanese culture influences appearing at the end of 2019, Puckator’s Kawaii style Shiba Inu is ready to greet eager giftware enthusiasts in the new year. With its east Asian colour palette and little collar and bell, this little chap couldn’t possibly be any more charming. This super cute and cuddly breed, native to Japan, lends itself perfectly to products like Puckator’s fluffy note pads, pencil cases and travel pillows. MISS MILLY Stand: 1H21 missmilly.co.uk Miss Milly, the British brand for gorgeous jewellery and scarves, has an established reputation for its stunning use of colour. Spring Fair will be no exception with a huge splash of mint and aqua, next season’s big colour, alongside the pastel trend and its own favourite bright tones. As a result of its own growth, Miss Milly has increased its stand size, refreshed the décor and, as usual, carried out a huge revamp of the ranges. Scarves are still key for gift and accessories buyers, and Miss Milly is launching a limited selection of scarf pins, a collection which it hopes will be as popular as the magnetic brooches that were a big hit in 2019, with new designs to be launched. With a stunning array of bold but easy-to-wear designs featuring flowers, hearts, leaves and abstract and geometric patterns, the collection is the most eye-catching to date and still as reasonably priced as ever.
