With comprehensive market research we’re able to follow current trends and predict up-and-coming trends. Using this information, we can adapt and develop our designs to ensure they encapsulate both the sense of heritage and history that we are renowned for, with a contemporary twist of modern and future trends creating a concept that is one of a kind to Price’s candles. How do you predict trends? What new scent will take the fragrance world by storm in 2020? We’re looking forward to seeing the continued growth of the Scandinavian trend in 2020. People are really starting to pull away from the busy floral trends we have seen over the last couple of years and are coming back to the natural, clean and crisp vibes of the Scandi trend. Within home fragrance you’ll see the increase in popularity of natural, earthy fragrances with clean minimalistic packaging and white wax which is perfect to complement any home and interior decor. What sets you apart from your competitors? The quality of our candles is the strongest defining point that sets us apart from our competitors. We produce our candles using 100 per cent fully refined waxes and top-quality fragrances. We don’t layer our fragrance within the wax, instead our products are fragranced consistently throughout helping to maintain a clean, even, soot free burn. Are you active on social media? How is this important for the business? Social media has become one of the biggest marketing tools for businesses today and we respect the importance of this. We’re active on all our social media pages and find this a great platform for engaging with our consumers to ensure they are up to date with all the Price’s Candles news. Do you visit trade shows? What are you hoping to achieve when you exhibit? We exhibit at several shows throughout the year including Spring Fair, Autumn Fair, Ambiente and Christmasworld. Our exhibitions are a very important time for us as it’s a great opportunity to increase our brand awareness and showcase our products to potential customers. Exhibitions also provide us with the perfect platform to launch new products. A Price’s Candles exhibition would never be complete without some phenomenal show deals available to all new and existing customers. Do you have any advice for new businesses starting out in the world of gift or fragrance? The gift and home fragrance industries are rapidly growing making it a very competitive trade. With so many suppliers out there going after the same market share, businesses really need to ensure they stand out from the crowd and have something that makes their company memorable to the customer. Customers are always looking for that unique product but also a brand that they can trust and rely on. They also want to know they’re getting the best value for their money. What can we expect in the future from Price’s Candles? We have some exciting new launches for 2020 that we’ll be showcasing at the NEC Spring Fair, which we’re sure our customers will be delighted to see. We’ve been working very hard over the past years to increase our brand awareness and improve our product offering.
