Gift Focus - Sep/Oct 2019 (Issue 115)

94 XYSTOS Stand: 8C40-D41 xystostrade.co.uk One-stop shop Xystos is set to end its show season on a high note at Autumn Fair. Buyers who didn’t make it to Harrogate for the launch of its new bath and body ranges – which were fantastically well received – will be able to catch them at the NEC. Thanks to new partnerships with Grace Cole, Faith in Nature and Winter in Venice, the Newcastle-based Xystos is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pampering products. It already has The Naked Bee – which sells under the banner “all the good stuff, none of the bad stuff” – in its portfolio, as well as top brand Di Palomo. And Xystos’s eco-friendly credentials are further enhanced by distribution of ranges from Faith in Nature, the largest independent UK based manufacturer of natural beauty products. Its conditioners, body and handwashes, shampoos and handmade soaps use the highest-quality, cruelty-free ingredients of 99 per cent natural origin, with 100 per cent natural fragrance. Each plant is chosen for its healing qualities. In-house experts craft the products, which are made with organic essential oils and free from parabens, SLS and MI and are suitable for vegans. And recycled bottles are always used when available. Turning to its new association with Grace Cole, Xystos director Tom Sykes comments: “We always want to be associated with the best suppliers, so this partnership was an excellent fit. Its premium bath and body Boutique and Luxury Bathing Company ranges are bang on-trend, and we are delighted to be associated with a brand that has garnered numerous business, enterprise and product awards and whose collections are found in more than 80 countries.” Tom was also keen to mention Winter in Venice and its “gorgeous hand-finished reusable gifting ideas,” he adds: “Consumers are seeking out more flameless fragrance product and less plastic packaging, which is why we’re particularly happy with our latest partnerships. The success of our own brand Cello Ultrasonic Diffusers is a further illustration of changing times. It appears that flameless fragrance solutions are right on trend. “We have three product streams – home fragrance, bath and body and lifestyle gifting – and our ranges are constantly evolving to meet public demand.” With newness at the heart of its Autumn Fair offer, Xystos will again show a diverse range of product, which will include Edison Lamp melt burners and portable, battery-operated, low-energy elegant lamps from Cello, as well as homeware and giftware introductions from Australian partner Splosh. Look out, too, for the new Christmas Couture Collection from Shearer Candles and more new pampering products from Di Palomo and The Naked Bee.
