The full-sized plush range will be expanded to a total of 38 characters at Home & Gift. Inspired by their growing popularity, llamas and sloths have been added to the range. The characters are scented with soothing French lavender that is released when the characters have been warmed in the microwave. Elsewhere in the new additions are flamingos and swans. The new collection was well-received by visitors to Intelex Group’s stand at Spring Fair in February, with retailers expressing their enthusiasm at these new characters. Intelex Group will also be showcasing the new Warm Hugs range. These seven inch twin Warm Hug characters offer double the fun and are supplied in attractive gift packaging. The Warmies Plush range retails at £12.95 each, with the Warm Hug characters retailing at £14.95 each. Among the many new winter styles are Didsbury, Bambury and Nepal frames in fashionable shades of green, as well as Penzance Stripe, Chianti and Osterley in plum and red shades, with RRPs of £12.99. Opticaid has also added more than 20 new styles to the winter range, including ever- popular animal prints. In a new collaboration with Stuart Cox, creator and designer of the I Like Birds brand, Opticaid is launching I Like Birds premium reading glasses.
