Designer Janice Daughters will launch new greetings card collections, with ranges for relations and milestone birthdays among 70 new designs, some of which feature metallic foil embellishments. Janice has also added to the collection of age cards in the child-friendly Scruffo Bear range, with age cards now available from one to 10 years. Janice’s full range also includes art prints, Christmas cards, botanical designs, animals, birds and scenic designs, all of which can be viewed on the stand. All cards are printed on high-quality FSC-certified board in 150mm squares, and each card is blank inside so customers can add their own message. MIDHAVEN Stand: C22 W: midhaven.co.uk Midhaven Limited is run by an all-female team based in Worcestershire, and directors Alison Hargreaves and Allison Smethurst have more than 35 years of industry experience behind them. On display at the show will be the latest additions the popular ranges of sterling silver jewellery and Tribal Steel leather bracelets. The stand will also feature miniature collectibles such as dogs, cats, owls and elephants in a range that includes pin cushions, bookmarks, whistles, spoons and magnifying glasses – all cast in 925 sterling silver and with RRPs starting from £19. New silver jewellery lines include delicate thread-through earrings and cute nature- and animal-themed studs. Fresh designs in the Opalique collection will be on show, including earrings and matching pendants. With men’s accessories remaining extremely popular, Midhaven has added a number of new designs to the Tribal Steel collection, including a brand-new sterling silver and leather range. The Tribal Sports range will also see many bright new show additions. BIG POTATO GAMES Stand: DP1-C78 W: bigpotato.com The Big Potato gang is making its way to Home & Gift with a brightly coloured stand and a bundle of brand-new party games. 2019’s lineup includes licensed movie party game Blockbuster , licensed family trivia game Disney Colourbrain and fast and frantic party game 20 Second Showdown . Blockbuster , styled after the classic video rental store, pits two teams against each other in a race to collect a movie card from all eight genres. The game includes a mixture of challenges such as a beat-the-buzzer round, movie quotes and charades, which sees players re-enact iconic film scenes. The movie party game comes with a Blockbuster carpark board and a VHS case box. Disney Colourbrain is a Disney-themed quiz with two colourful twists. The first is that you start with all of the answers, and the second is that they’re all colours. Each player has 11 colour cards in their hand. To answer each question, players must play the correct card and hope the other players slip up. 20 Second Showdown is a rollercoaster family game, with two teams racing to complete a series of ridiculous challenges. One player starts in the hot seat, reads out a challenge card and then flips the massive timer before completing whatever challenge the game throws at them. There are 400 challenges included – from saying “hello” in three different languages to swapping shoes with a team member. The first team to run out of time loses and must reset the timer.
