The show’s timing provides the perfect opportunity to see new ideas and trends for the coming season. It’s also a good time of year for fashion accessories as it captures the run-up to Christmas. Along with the classic sparkle and bling normally associated with the party season, Hot Tomato will be launching bright hair accessories. This relatively new category has been gaining momentum over the past few seasons, fuelled by social media, and is now moving into the high street. Brooches are also attracting attention, allowing customers to curate an individual look and update a favourite outfit, hat or bag. Scarves continue to be a cornerstone of the company’s collection, with animal prints still very much at the fore. Faux fur has established itself in recent years as a high performer, and Hot Tomato has new designs in this category launching at the show. The snap cuffs are set to be particularly popular as a means of dressing up gloves or keeping warm without them. In total, Hot Tomato will launch more than 400 new designs at the show, covering fashion accessories in all categories.
