103 HOME & GIFT TILNAR ART Stand: DP4-61 W: tilnarart.co.uk Tilnar art is returning to Home & Gift this year with a selection of vibrant Fairtrade and handmade gifts. The company designs products with the modern home in mind, never losing sight of the eventual consumers and retailers. This includes travelling thousands of miles a year to find products that provide an edge in sales and to maintain relationships with an increasing number of artisans, providing them with regular and sustainable trade. The newest addition to the range is the Meg Hawkin’s collection, combining Tilnar Art’s signature range of recycled, food-safe aluminium bowls, coasters and dishes with Meg Hawkins’ stunning wildlife paintings. The products are handmade by Indian artisans, who cast, rough-polish and enamel the pieces before they are finished with a smooth polish. Products are made from recycled materials, are completely recyclable and come in stylish plastic-free presentation boxes. Tilnar Art will also showcase the Azeti collection. Azeti’s signature range is a collection of recycled food-safe aluminium bowls, platters and dishes that are available in a variety of colours, designs and sizes. Each item is handmade to a high quality with hand-finished enamelwork inside. Tilnar Art’s Mini Soapstone collection has become one of the company’s most popular ranges. The stone sculptures have been carved in Kiisi for more than 60 years, using the area’s soft stone, varying in colour from white to rose to grey. Carvers work in small groups and each group specialises in certain carvings. The finished carvings are polished and dyed in vibrant colours with etchings inscribed in them by the skilled artisans. The figures have less than one per cent environmental impact from production and disposal compared to non-recyclable plastic or resin products. THE LAGOON GROUP Stand: DP1-B26 W: thelagoongroup.com The Lagoon Group is back at Harrogate with a raft of educational gifts for kids. On display is bright new range Tabletop Brainbox. Inspired by the world-renowned visual memory games, which have sold more than seven million games globally, these tabletop-sized games are bound to become family favourites. Players study the card for 10 seconds then answer a question on the roll of a die. Titles include World, Animals, Maths, Science and Football. After a successful launch, Lagoon is extending the World of David Walliams collection to include a Mega-Tastic Challenges game based on the books of the bestselling author. The innovative range includes characters from Walliams’ best- loved titles including Gangsta Granny, Awful Auntie, Billionaire Boy, Ratburger and Grandpa’s Great Escape. REPEAT REPEAT Stand: DP4-26 W: repeatrepeat.co.uk Repeat Repeat is a Stoke-on-Trent based pottery company determined to keep the traditions of English potteries alive.
