51 MANCHESTER FURNITURE SHOW Lighting theway Gift Focus offers an update on what’s in store for visitors to this year’s Manchester Furniture Show Known as one of the friendliest events in the UK furniture and interiors calendar, the Manchester Furniture Show will return to Manchester Central from 14 th -16 th July, 2019. The show has a relaxed atmosphere, and takes place in a Manchester’s former Victorian central rail station, now converted into a modern and fully accessible exhibition venue. The site has 24-hour parking and is located near several railway stations with direct connections to most major UK cities and is an easy distance from Manchester Airport. Crucial for sourcing new collections for the busy autumn trading period, the show will feature new collections of mirrors, glassware, art, table and wall lights, decorative accessories and soft furnishings. Covering all levels of the market, from mainstream to high end, it is an ideal chance for every type of customer to pick up the latest designs. Key exhibitors at this year’s show include high-end lighting specialist Chelsom, which has installed lighting schemes in a diverse range of buildings, from 21 st - century London bars, public buildings and restoration ventures, including Manchester Town Hall. Blue Bone has been developing innovative products for 20 years, and is bringing funky new collections of furniture and unusual accessories to the show.
