The Autumn instalment of IHGF has paved the way for an exciting Spring edition. After five energy-charged days, IHGF Delhi Fair, one of the world’s largest shows for home, lifestyle, fashion, furniture and textiles, signed off with a splendid wrap-up, beating expectations with record numbers of exhibitors and buyers. Recognized as one of the world’s largest congregations of handicraft exporters, the show has become a sought-after sourcing event, encompassing the complete supply chain of home fashion, collectibles, gifting and fashion accessories. The Autumn 2018 edition brought together more than 3,200 exhibitors, showcasing innovative collections and highlighting numerous skills and capabilities. With 14 show sectors, the display was spread over 15 expansive halls. Buyers from all over the world were in attendance, with particularly high numbers of buyers from the U.S, Europe, Australia, South America, the Middle East and Asia. Wide-ranging selections, presented by leading export houses at the show, inspired buyers to replenish their merchandise and add new product lines for the upcoming seasons. IHGF Delhi Fair returns to the India Expo Centre & Mart, New Delhi NCR, for its Spring 2019 edition from 18 th -22 nd February, 2019. India’s top manufacturers, exporters and artisan groups queue up to be amongst the 3,000-plus participants in the forthcoming edition of this distinguished sourcing show. Overseas buyers are also expected to turn out in large numbers. Visitors to the fair also get access to the 900 permanent showrooms in the Mart, spaced out on four levels at the Expo Centre. Spring 2019 will see enriched display areas in all categories with a promising assortment of creations varied in inspiration, process and materials. Art, furniture, accessories, glassware, fashion jewellery and accessories, hand-printed textiles, embroidered goods, lace, toys homeware, home fragrance products, pottery and ceramics are among the goods that will be on display, frommajor manufacturing hubs to artisan clusters and the craft pockets of India. Theme pavilions and regional representations are included to give buyers the opportunity to source directly from artisans and new entrepreneurs, placed beside established exporters. IHGF meets visiting buyers demands for exclusive and bespoke goods, facilitating lifestyle product sourcing from India in an unmatched capacity. IHGF Delhi Fair is organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), a non-profit organisation representing Indian handicraft manufacturers and exporters. The council provides comprehensive information about the sector to international buyers and ensures optimal interface between the Indian handicrafts industry and international buyers. Previously known as the Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair, IHGF Delhi Fair has seen 46 editions, with the 47 th and 48 th coming in 2019.
