REPEAT REPEAT Stand: 6S21 W: repeatrepeat.co.uk Repeat Repeat uses traditional techniques to create pottery items, including mugs, tableware and nurseryware. The company began as a small studio in 1984, and soon turned its hand to bone china, made by pouring liquid clay into a mould by hand. The Quinto mugs and jugs are the latest shape in the popular Classic White range of bone china. The pleasing forms are inspired by the Quinto drum. The designs have subtle, understated patterns which are embossed into the bone china and a smaller handle designed to complement their delicate shape. The mugs are comforting to hold and make even a simple cup of tea or coffee feel special. The bone china is lovingly handmade in the company’s hometown of Stoke-on-Trent, and Repeat Repeat is determined to continue traditions of old English pottery. DUNOON CERAMICS LTD Stand: 9F18 W: dunoonmugs.co.uk Dunoon is a UK manufacturer of fine bone china mugs, cups, saucers and teapots. Formed in Scotland in 1974, Dunoon now produces fine bone china mugs in Staffordshire, the traditional home of the British pottery industry. Dunoon introduces more than 350 new patterns each year, with more than 1,000 mug designs in the range at any given moment. At Spring Fair will be Agapanthus and Rosabunda, two splendid new designs by Michele Aubourg, featuring agapanthus and rose flowers in full bloom, beautifully painted in a botanical style in watercolour. The Skye mug is a new shape for Dunoon launching this year and suits Michele’s designs well, creating bold, statement pieces. Dunoon has also had great success with its informative mugs on its larger-size Glencoe shape, which provides an excellent vehicle for the designs. The Eye, The Ear and Human Reproduction are new designs, extending the range of medical mugs. The bold and colourful graphic drawings contain useful information, providing educational entertainment over your morning coffee.
