The company has been designing and selling quality wholesale candles, with a wide choice of design-led ranges, for more than 46 years. Exceptional customer service and innovative design is at the heart of the company’s ethos. Candlelight employs a talented team of designers, who are responsible for creating the latest trends and working with customers to develop inspirational candles and gifts. In 2018, Candlelight built on its strong brand name by launching a range of own-branded candles: The Candle Collection. This collection is full of exciting candle and gift concepts, plus exclusive packaging to complement the product and enhance the gift-buying experience. These candles were first launched at Spring Fair last year, and interest in them has been unprecedented. This led to Candlelight extending the range, effectively doubling the collection, with all-new products on display this year. The Candle Collection comprises more than 150 new product lines and 11 exciting ranges, including Feelings, Destinations, Inspired, Wellbeing, Lips and Kisses and many more. Debbie Isles, sales director at Candlelight, explained: “Our designers have pulled out all the stops to create a collection that is set to revitalise the gift market. We are really looking forward to demonstrating the new collection to retailers at Spring Fair and discussing the service and support that we offer.” Candlelight’s designers have taken inspiration frommany aspects of modern life, including the trend to bring the outdoors indoors and the desire to relive the sights and smells of foreign travel, captured in exotic and tropical fragrances. Some ranges feature heavy patterns and colourful designs, while others use minimalism to suit contemporary homes. Debbie continued: “We invest just as much time and effort in designing the packaging as the product. Both are created in conjunction with each other, so they just work. Our aim is to make gift buying a multi-sensory experience, and we’ve come up with some quirky, innovative product display ideas to capture imaginations.” The candles and reed diffusers are complemented by a range of home giftware. Included are trinket dishes, jewellery stands, hanging mirrors and photo frames, which continue to soar in popularity. For 2019, Candlelight has introduced a 20cm hanging glass plaque with the heart-warming slogan “Do good & be kind.” The company’s attractive photo frames are ideal for showing pictures of loved ones. One frame has a pink marble effect, another features pink and gold edges and one is grey with gold edges to fit with contemporary home styling. Candlelight has the resources to meet both large and small order requirements. Products can be viewed by appointment in the company’s 10,000 square-foot showroom in South Yorkshire.
