Gift Focus - Jan/Feb 2019 (Issue 111)

Ahead of the second annual Glee at Spring Fair (3 rd -7 th February, NEC Birmingham) the show’s exhibitors reveal what garden and gift buyers can expect to see from this thriving exhibition. Woodlodge, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of garden planters and containers, will use the show as an opportunity to showcase its expanded Rustic Garden and Feather ranges of pots and planters. Rustic Garden draws on the Modern Farmhouse trend and focuses on natural materials and alternative colourways. Feathers is designed to suit gardeners’ changing needs and smaller outdoor spaces, with modern lightweight planters made from 100 per cent recycled plastic. Creative Products will be showcasing goods with a shifting focus towards sustainably sourced and paper-based packaging where possible. On display is the pet mitt, designed to help invigorate the pet’s skin while maintaining a healthy coat; the Mighty Little Digger gardening tool, for weeding, digging and loosening soil; a new grill mat; and a grey version of the company’s popular Auto Wash Stick. Fargro will be showing its ranges of indoor and outdoor planters and containers, as well as extended garden decoration and Christmas ranges. Kieran Daly, Fargro’s key accounts development manager, said: “We see a very exciting time ahead, developing our added value and garden gift ranges. For us, the timing of Glee at Spring Fair is right for launching our new Christmas ranges and highlighting the spring and summer products we originally exhibited at the main Glee exhibition in September.” More information about Glee at Spring Fair can be found at gleebirmingham.com Top Drawer and Pulse co-locating in 2019 Pulse London, a go-to event for undiscovered talent, design innovators and trend leaders, announces plans to co-locate with Top Drawer from 2019 onwards, with the first co-located show taking place from the 8 th -10 th September, 2019.
