A new Saturday Style Market launched by Spitalfields E1 is looking for local and up and coming designers/makers to sell and promote their work to a varied, forward-thinking and opinion-forming audience.
Spitalfields Saturday Style Market is where you will find ethical, hand-made and original goods from the best independent designers. It attracts discerning shoppers, fashionistas and stylists looking for original fashion, interiors, accessories and gifts. Spitalfields is becoming a leading London destination attracting more than 75,000 visitors a week.
Spitalfields has proven a stepping-stone for many young businesses, helping them to grow and get to know their customers in the up close and personal setting of a busy London market.
Spitalfields also provides a supportive and lively community for new traders and a space to connect and communicate with their existing and new client base. And, with the cost of a regular stall only £50 per Saturday until 31st August 2013, it's an affordable way to get onto the retail ladder, right in the heart of London.
“Spitalfields is known for its diverse, talented and creative traders. We feel that it really supports and encourages fledgling designers and promotes individuality. We wanted to be part of Spitalfields Style Market because it is something new and different, which describes our brand too,” says Katrina Nolan, jewellery designer and founder of Burnish & Black and a recent trader at Spitalfields.
Spitalfields E1 is currently looking for new traders to expand the market and is inviting applications to compliment the high caliber of designers/makers already trading. Interested designers/makers committed to offering original designs, should apply online at www.spitalfields.co.uk/apply.
The Saturday Style Market runs from 11am to 5pm every Saturday with original clothing, accessories, homeware and ethical goods. Designers already involved include, Edwyn UK, Amaya London, Anami & Janine, Reclaim Bags, Usine Des Fous, Conquer and Le-Ju.
