Sales soar for Rachel Ellen balloons

A new range of Rachel Ellen balloons from Qualatex are proving to be a huge hit, with the company's latest sales figures showing that four out of ten of its best-selling balloons feature the distinctive designs.

Founded in 1997, when Founder Rachel Church started out making greetings cards at her kitchen table, Rachel Ellen Designs produces a range of quality cards and stationery featuring Rachel's quirky, hand-painted characters. The individual designs are now instantly recognisable and have made Rachel Ellen into a much-loved and well-established children's brand, as well as winning a number of prestigious international awards over the years, including Henries for Best Cute Range 2006, Best Children's Range 2008 and Best Cute Range 2011. The range has a strong presence at UK retail through a select number of high street multiples, as well as small chains, department stores and independents. The products can also be found in more than 25 territories across the world and are particularly popular in Japan.

The Qualatex range features a variety of Rachel Ellen designs on high quality foil balloons. The four best-sellerd are the much loved pirate design as well as the knight, ballerina and princess that are all exclusive to Qualatex, whilst baby boy and girl designs are also selling well. Other designs include a christening rang and balloons for adult celebrations such as engagements, weddings and milestone birthdays. This month will also see Qualatex launch its first ever partyware range, which will feature Rachel Ellen designs on paper plates, cups, napkins and table covers.
