Farm Shop & Deli Show highlights healthy and natural products

Farm Shop & Deli Show highlights healthy and natural products: Image 1 The Farm Shop & Deli Show returns on the 8th-10th April with a lineup perfect for delicatessens, farm shops, restaurants, garden centres, food halls, butcheries, bakeries and more.

This year, the show will shine a light on natural and healthy product with exhibitors showcasing their products in the new Healthy & Natural area. Visitors will be able to use it as a one-stop shop to discover natural and vegan-friendly snacks on display by exhibitors such as Growers Garden. Growers Garden uses fresh broccoli from its own farms as its number one ingredient, helping to eliminate food waste through the use of "wonky" vegetables.

Molhado's stand will showcase its cold-pressed extra virgin oils, made using the best raw ingredients sourced from local farms of Limpopo, South Africa. The range includes Avocado, Apricot Kernel and Macadamia.

Healthy living is an area where consumers are increasingly demanding choice and innovation, and the drinks market is not exempt. Cannabis Tea focuses on body and mind botanicals, grown in certified organic farms. The tea is free from pesticides, non-com and vegan.

Nairn's Outcakes Ltd. is proving to be another draw. Baking since 1896, the award-winning products are high in soluble fibre and full of complex carbohydrates, giving consumers a natural boost. Visitors will also be able to pick up top tips from exhibitor Taza Bake, the first bread factory to specialise in fresh flat bread in Scotland. The company's bread is additive-free.

In addition to the Healthy & Natural area on the show floor, visitors are also invited to listen to industry leaders speaking on the Live Stage. With three days of sessions, visitors will be able to pick up advice from David Ware from Greens Brewery, Rob Fink from Big Drop Brewing and Graeme Louden from CGA in their discussion of healthier beer. The panellists will offer insights into the importance of burgeoning brews from gluten free to zero alcohol.

Another attraction to the Live Stage is the founder of Glowing Potential Emily Foster, discussing Healthy Food, Healthy Profits and "wellthy" consumers. This will cover how retailers can maximise profits in the wellness market, meeting the trend for healthy and nutritious food and drink choices.

Visitors seeking healthy and natural options can also see David and Stephen Flynn of The Happy Pear in their session Plant Based Pioneers. The Irish brothers will discuss how they built their empire, overcame challenges and found the sweet spot where health and wellness fuel a happier way of life.

Farm Shop & Deli Show is co-located with National Convenience Show, The Forecourt Show and the second instalment of The Ingredients Show. Together they will bring together suppliers from across the food and drink retail industry.
