Gibsons sponsor Independent Toy & Gift Show: Image 1 Gibsons, the fourth-generation British jigsaw and games company, sponsored the 2019 Independent Toy & Gift Show last week. The 2019 show theme was Jigsaws & Puzzles, making it the perfect opportunity for the company to commemorate the 100 years that have passed since the business first began trading in 1919.

The café was redesigned with Gibsons' vibrant centenary branding with an eye-catching display of branded vinyls featuring some of the company's bestselling jigsaw puzzles and games, including the new White Logo range and fast-paced dice game Zonkers. Visitors also got a first-look at what will be on offer in July when Gibsons release its Q4 Christmas range, including a brand-new Christmas countdown calendar.

The Independent Toy & Gift Show was the first opportunity for buyers to see Gibsons' new spring puzzle designs, all of which have been designed by British artists and made in the UK using 100 per cent recycled board.

Kim Garrod, national account manager at Gibsons, said: "It was great to work with Aimee, Faz and the team at this year's Toy & Gift Show. Our branded café and stand looked fantastic and it was lovely to once again see many of our AIS friends and customers. We're thrilled that jigsaws were the theme this year as puzzling is a great hobby for all ages. Based on rate of sale, we are the UK's best-performing manufacturer in adult puzzles and have the thickest 1000-piece jigsaw pieces, so to be able to celebrate this and our 100th anniversary made the show extra-special."

Gibson would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the company's story so far, from jigsaw puzzlers to suppliers, retailers and warehouse partners and everyone in between. The team is excited to unveil this year's latest products soon.

The company will attend the Toymaster Show in May, continuing the centenary celebrations.
