Country Baskets, one of the UK's leading floral and craft suppliers, has launched its latest design partnership: an exciting collaboration with popular up and coming designer, Julie Dodsworth.

Unveiled in Country Baskets stores nationwide this month, the new Julie Dodsworth range is designed exclusively for Country Baskets and the first line will include 40 variants of silk flowers, ribbon, cellophane and decorative aggregates, all inspired by Julie's Yorkshire roots and time spent aboard her beloved boat, Calamity Jane.

Julie's vintage and folky design style has developed since she taught herself the art of canal painting after purchasing her own narrow boat following the growth of the family's plant display business. After a suggestion from her daughter that her narrowboat designs and patterns would look great on homeware, Julie set out to make her dream a reality.

Julie, who's based in York, has since gone on to design and collaborate with distinguished brands such as Barbour and Wax Lyrical, and her products are now stocked in a wide range of stores including Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis and Lakeland. The Country Baskets Julie Dodsworth Collection includes beautifully original designs such as Swiss Cottage, Fairy-tale and Midsummer Ball.
