The fifth edition of the January Furniture Show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC accessories galore Now well-established as the principal furniture and interiors trade show in the UK, the fifth January Furniture Show (JFS) returns to the NEC in Birmingham from 20 th -23 rd January, 2019. The show will be full of big names in gifts and accessories, and buyers will have the first opportunity of the new year to see the latest collections and newest trends. Since its inception in 2015, JFS has continued to develop and cater for retail buyers, interior designers and specifiers wishing to purchase at volume and mid and high-end levels of the market across a broad spectrum of products. Joining the already impressive show lineup in 2019 are new names from around the world. In Hall 3, which is dedicated to interior flourishes and garden decoration, the returning favourites include Libra, Pacific Lifestyle, Culinary Concepts, Mindy Brownes, Kelston House, Blue Bone, Malini, Pharmore and Gallery Direct. For three major accessory companies, JFS will be the only opportunity in the first part of the year to see the new ranges. CIMC, McGowan & Rutherford and Mindy Brownes are making JFS the only trade show as the year gets going. McGowan & Rutherford will be new to the show. Based in Suffolk, and with a more than 20-year history, the company has its own creative team that develops original designs and sources unusual products worldwide. The huge variety of products has everything from angels and cherubs to neon lighting and sleek black metal furniture. Another new exhibitor is Dutch Imports & Daughters. It has an interesting history, beginning in the Netherlands and becoming firmly rooted in England. The company’s eclectic mix of home accessories includes coat hooks, handles and signs, as well as garden ornaments and mirrors. They place an emphasis on different and unusual items. The company is named to reflect its history, with most items now sourced in East Asia. Collier & Dobson has a 45-year foundation in art and contemporary sculpture.
