gift focus 79 autumn fair preview XYSTOS Hall 5 Stand H01 xystostrade.co.uk Xystos heads for Autumn Fair in great heart after a successful Home & Gift show, which saw strong orders across all three of its product streams. The home of flame and fragrance continues to be a big player in the wax market, with innovative ranges from Village Candle and its own Cello products while also having two of the UK’s biggest bath and body brands in its bag – Baylis & Harding and Di Palomo – as well as the ever-popular Naked Bee. The latest Xystos alliance, with Splosh, reaped immediate dividends. On-trend battery-operated Fairy Houses flew out of its warehouse and, at the same time, propelled the company further into lifestyle gifting. It is also distributing Splosh’s Adopt a Doorstop pieces in cat and dog poses; Mugs to Give, which carry sentiment-driven messages in handbag-style packaging and has introduced three more ranges from the Australian manufacturer. The Art of Cats has images of furry friends on mugs, cushions, journals, notebooks, tote bags and sticky notes, while Precious Pets features pictures of different breeds of dogs on mugs and hanging door signs, as well as photo frames carrying tributes to them. Splosh Celebration Glasses mark any occasion. A stemless wine glass comes with a fabric gold-glitter wearable crown or hat that clips to the wearer’s hair. The glass design has a gold foil confetti print with a wish that reads, 'Congrats to you.' Spearheading the Baylis & Harding autumn/winter introductions is The Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Collection, with the stylish geometric print cleverly incorporating presents of all shapes and sizes and setting the tone for the gifting season. It has personal care covered from head to toe. The Boudoir Secret Garden Collection, with Midnight Rose Petals fragrance, features a striking floral design set against a dark background and accented with rose gold foil. The Jojoba, Silk & Almond Oil Collection is a gorgeous fusion which perfectly complements the blush pink and rose gold packaging, while The Naturals Collection has delicate Oatmeal, Milk and Honey scents. Fragranced with Pink Magnolia & Pear Blossom, The Royale Garden Collection from Baylis & Harding is a striking, bold new floral design set against a muted grey background, while La Maison range is inspired by the coolness of a winter in Provence and scented with Fig & Cassis. The Skin Spa Winter Wonderland Collection blends calming rosemary and eucalyptus with the refreshing fragrance of white tea for an indulgent spa experience within the home. Baylis & Harding’s Fuzzy Duck Cotswolds Floral Collection has scents of Woodland Bluebell and Wild Flower Meadow, while the company’s local countryside was also the inspiration for The Fuzzy Duck Winter Wonderland Collection, which has a Frosted Christmas Tree and Mulberry & Mistletoe fragrances. A new candle range from Xystos under its own Cello brand complements Birch Bark hand-crafted candles. Himalayan Glow salt crystal candle holders and lamps will also be on view, along with Village Candle’s Shimmering Metallic collection and personal care products from Di Palomo.
