I thoroughly enjoyed putting together this edition for you and look forward to the next few issues at the helm as I step into the Rachel’s shoes while she is on maternity leave. Show season is in full swing, and after putting together a packed Home & Gift preview, which starts on page 65, I do encourage you to turn to it to help plan your time at the show. I’m excited to head to Harrogate for the first time to see all the wonderful products and ideas on the stands. I hope to see lots of you there! That’s not all the show coverage, though, as in this issue there are previews for HOMI and Formex as well. Although we are still at the height of summer, getting in stock for the upcoming seasonal events is key. With this in mind, I have rounded up some nifty ideas for Halloween over on page 51, and the countdown to Christmas begins with part one on page 19 – keep your eyes peeled for part two in September/October.
